It's very well concerted and you can easily get to London's gay centre, Soho where you can find G.A.Y. Bar, Heaven nightclub and many, many more. There's also a vibrant LGBTQ+ scene in south London and every week there are niche events (Bears, leather, fetish etc).
The local area has a thriving LGBTQ+ community. There are plenty of LGBTQ+ friendly stores, coffee shops and businesses. London generally has rich Queer history which is great to explore.
