double room in Leytonstone

This was such a fab find, a beautifully presented Victorian property in the heart of the East. Nearby Olympic park & wetlands, with Stratford being one of the main hubs. The hosts were so welcoming & accommodating, friendly doggy as well, got chatting to them most mornings, but also allowed you to come & go as you please. The room was bright & airy & a very comfortable space to come back to. Lovely area with a great cafe at the end of the street & laundrette around the corner. Good transport too

Both Gary and Rodney are great hosts, all the things were as described, their house is done to a really nice standard and the energy is great. I would highly recommend!

I had a great time. Was welcomed with great hospitality and immediately offered tea. Gary and Rodney were very friendly and accommodating. They gave me freedom to do my thing and I enjoyed being able to watch Netflix and chill out on the living room. The room was cozy, with plenty of bedding. Bathroom was clean and everything was provided (towel, bathrobe, shower gel). It was easy to get to and close to everything you need (pub, convenience store, barber, transit, etc)

Being my last stop (23rd City) of my 90 days Europe vacation & this location is ideal for travelers like me who prefer to stay away from tourist hub and yet getting to downtown is a breeze, London Underground (by day) & night bus. Gary & Rodney are great host, though our conversation were minimal due to our different daily activities. Beside, the room comes with a great view, not reminding oneself of the city landscape and plenty of personal space. Neighborhood suburbal shops, cafe, restaurants, mini/hypermarts are all very closeby. It's definitely highly recommended. Both "hardware" and "software" elements are 5-star ratings and definitely value for money, in my humble opinion. Gary's home is conveniently located near the central line, and their home is newly renovated and very comfortable. I stayed 5 nights, and Gary and Rob were great hosts throughout. They always made sure I felt at home and also made me part of their home. Fabulous stay, and I would absolutely stay again.

I don’t know where to begin. Overall my experience was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. First off Gary made all the arrangements and give me all the good information so my arrival was seamless since it was my first time in London. The house is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood and The underground station is just 5 min distance. Plus on that station you can catch the central line that connects all other lines. His house is such lovely and cozy place with all the facilities. I stayed with my partner and the room, bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms as well. But on top of that Gary and his partner treated us like friends and offered all the help and stuff we needed. They are so friendly and kind and that is something you rarely find in a host. My partner loved the tea he offered every morning. What yo say about his poodle it is such a lovely dog if u are a dog lover. I definitely recommend this place to stay to anyone it is a win win quality-price. Thank u guys.

So happy that I got to stay at Gary's place. The location is great and really close to the underground which is a plus!!! Lots of small cafes, bars, great atmosphere overall. But not just that, Gary and housemates are GREAT! I didn't feel like I was renting a place, I felt like I was part of the household! They are absolutely nice, outgoing, very helpful, and they would check on me often, to make sure I was safe and having a great time. Good location, great value, AND AMAZING GUYS!

London - a beautiful, big and powerful city. Even though I been there several times in the past, it's always a pleasure to visit the city. Gary and Rodney are charming, entertaining and down to earth kind of people. As hosts they really give you a good hosting and make sure that you ok and feel comfortable. Their house is not so far from the center and located in lovely and peaceful neighborhood. Their poodle Ben is adorable and their house mates are very nice and communicative. I have not words to describe Gary and his husband Rony. They were fantastic with me. Let me start with the house: Very good location, very close to the train(USA) or tube (UK), only 5 min. Walking distance from Gary house and 20 to 25 mins. From the station city. From the airport in my case from Southend airport it took me like 1 hour and 15 min. Ticket was 16 pounds from the airport to Gary's house. Gary was an amazing host, he accommodate me like if I was part of his family or friends, so I really appreciate that, he help me to repair my suitcase that had one of the wheels broken. However the most lovely part was to invite to stay with him and his husband at the gay pride, I was traveling by myself but he made me feel like if I was part of his close friend. Also he gave me every morning a cup of coffee and he let me use his washer machine to wash my gears. Please if you reading this review, don't think twice to book on gary house. His house is beautiful, comfortable and clean and he and his husband will make you feel as if you are part of his family. You won't regret it if you book him.
