Lovely weekend in Amsterdam for world pride. Clean, nice and upgraded room with a good location. Quite tiny bathroom and stairs - we had only small luggage, so it was okay, but cannot imagine fitting a big suitcase if someone was carrying one up the floors.
This host was horrible and incredibly rude. First we were supposed to have a second floor, it a 4th floor walk up through narrow winding stairs. You could hear every sound in the building. I had asked for some gay recommendations since we were coming for the world price music festival to which the host replied “I don’t know, I’m bit homosexual so you will just have to figure it out” to which I replied “ I would think you would know what’s going on in your neighborhood regardless of your sexuality but also you are advertising and have no problem taking money from gay people but yet you act as if everything is a hassle for you. He left several rude messages and the sink in the bathroom was only 1 inch deep and with a slow drain so couldn’t even bring your teeth at the sink! He should not be allowed to list on this sight as he seemed very homophobic and a real jerk who was only out for money. This site is supposed to be gay community helping each other and this place and host was anything but!! Don’t stay here if you are gay or care about how gay people are treated!!

Comfortable room in a classic, old, but well-maintained Amsterdam building. Very convenient location, great area for walking. Stairs are narrow and steep which is typical for these buildings, fine if you are able bodied but could be difficult if you have mobility issues. We really enjoyed staying here!
I enjoyed my stay in Amsterdam. Alexander was a great host and offered advice and any help that I might have wanted while staying in this room. It is clean, comfortable and is in a good central location. I really liked that the room is lockable and I could come and go without disturbing anyone I walked pretty much everywhere I wanted to go and visit.
Nice room, comfortable bed, great anti noise windows although the room was facing the street it was quiet steep stairs (normal for Amsterdam), wanted to check in a little bit before 2 pm but could not. small bathroom, but all the necessities. all in all a good stay and good location cannot have any guests in the room. but I understand .
