The Reveal

Le Manoir is a stunning restored 16th Century spacious house with 4 double rooms all with en suite shower rooms set in 6 acres of private garden. The outside space has a private salt water pool, 6 man hot tub and gym. There are several dining options in the grounds which include an enclosed Moroccan outdoor kitchen and dining space.

The house is full of original character and has been tastefully restored over the past five years by owners Hugh and Ian. The Inside space includes a spacious kitchen, dining room, sitting room and hall.

The newly renovated guest suite offers additional privacy for your guests and is situated in our courtyard next to the house.

We have been together for 40 years since meeting at hotel school in UK. Ian has just retired after a successful career in hospitality in London. Hugh retired 7 years ago following a successful career as board director in the NHS in London. We both have a passion for food, wine and entertaining. We've travelled a lot and search out good restaurants where ever we go ! We have used our experience travelling and staying in good hotels to influence the restoration of the property. We love art, music, politics and have a wide circle of friends widely spread in Europe and USA. We Love the peace and tranquillity of life in the Dordogne and love to share that passion with friends and guests.

From start to finish, this was a 5 star experience! The information during booking was clear, concise and accurate. When we arrived at the beautiful property, we were warmly greeted by Ian and Hugh - we were all made to feel hugely welcome and were shown around the wonderful building and facilities. This was the most tranquil and relaxing of holidays in a truly stunning home. A fabulous break and we can't wait to come back for our next stay at Les Fouilloux! Can't recommend enough!
