Domus Claudiae - FromHometoRome

Domus Claudiae is an apartment of about 50 square meters located at the entrance to Vatican City, nestled between St. Peter's, Trastevere and the historic center of Rome. From here it is also possible to reach the Janiculum Hill (the highest vantage point in central Rome) with a short walk. The entrance to the building is reached by climbing about 20 steps, and the apartment has a separate entrance onto an internal courtyard that especially in spring is filled with beautiful colorful flowers. The interior of the apartment is hand-painted by the owner herself, Claudia, hence the name chosen for the house. Upon entering you are immediately in the kitchen (with induction cooktop, small fridge and freezer, kettle, microwave oven and Nespresso coffee machine). In the same space is a table with 3 seats and the washing machine. The bathroom has a shower and electric radiator, while there is air conditioning and central heating throughout the house. The double bedroom can be separated from the living room (with a double sofa bed and armchair with footrest) through pocket doors. Free Wi-Fi and TV with amazon prime are available.
