Newly decorated, the apartment offers a comfortable living space in one of the most iconic buildings in Cape Town.
The double volume ceilings and elegant furnishings create a warm but spacious atmosphere.
The apartment is located in the most iconic Art Deco building in South Africa. Opened in 1940 as the headquarters of what is now the Old Mutual insurance and financial services company, the "Mutual Building" (or "Mutual Gebou" in Afrikaans) was reportedly then the tallest building in Africa apart from the Pyramids in Egypt. The Mutual Heights building is set in the heart of Cape Town, within walking distance to historical landmarks such as the Company's Garden, the Cape of Good Hope Castle, the City Hall, Greenmarket Square and the Grande Parade.
The apartment is perfectly located to get around on foot.

As your host, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules and confirm that is has been reviewed WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a strict cancellation policy. Thank you in advance and we truly appreciate your cooperation!
•No shoes on the bed or on the furniture.
•No smoking inside the home.
Extra cleaning fees to remove odour and stains will be applied.
•Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
•Please wash your dishes after use.
If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.
•PARKING
Parking is provided if prearranged with your host.
•Please do not rearrange the furniture.
•No parties, or additional guests without previous approval from your host.
If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbours, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
•Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.
This applies to both drugs and internet activity.
•Return all keys and access cards
There is an additional cost charged by the building for replacing access disks and cards. Please make sure not to lose them.
•Lastly, because this is an bnb community, not a hotel, and is also my home when I stay in CapeTown, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
