Hi guys, welcome over here! I offer travelers upscale guest rooms in the famous "Black House" close to the center of Agen and five minutes walk from the bus station and SNCF.
The neo-Basque exterior building proudly hangs south facing the hillside of the Ermitage, directly at the edge of the canal side of the Garonne (Canal du Midi).
With its Mediterranean gardens offering many intimate spaces, terraces, swimming pool, and art deco interior with details So Mid-century, stay here is a real experience, totally opposed to other addresses in the city.
Enjoy a chic setting, an art deco decoration, undeniably glamorous and retro, a bit vintage, arty, and sometimes kitsch because it must be said, the kitch suits him so well!
The house is large and very bright, it offers many areas for relaxation or work. Guests can enjoy views of the gardens, the canal, the city, and the hillsides in the background.
However understand that the environment is urban and can sometimes be noisy as in all cities (including traffic), despite the screen vegetation.
The five rooms and suites are all renovated and offer a different experience in size and decor, they are all air conditioned, with private bathrooms and toilets. Top-of-the-range bedding Made-in-France, Nespresso, organic tea, quality linen, tablets: many attentions and equipment are at your disposal to enhance your stay. When the city sleeps is open to everyone, the rules are simple, respect the places, other guests, the neighborhood, myself, and all the equipment at your disposal to enhance your stay.
Be careful not to make too much noise. Be cool, friendly, and relaxed, the setting is chic but the atmosphere in no way. You are free of your movements, the conviviality is welcome but by no means obligatory.
No naturism possible, we are in town and there are many vis-à-vis.
We smoke when we want but only outside.
Some spaces marked "Crew Only" are not open to the public, please do not enter without being invited.
The configuration of places all floors requires me to clarify that unfortunately the access is not at all suitable for people with reduced mobility, or person having difficulty to move.
If you travel children it's great, but the configuration of places requires extra vigilance, especially in the many stairs, terraces, and especially on the pool area. I therefore ask you the greatest attention at all times.
I am at your disposal, before, during, and after your stay if you have questions, needs, or if you encounter difficulties, do not hesitate to ask me.
