The B&B is located in the Flemish Ardennes, a beautiful hilly region in the south of East-Flanders, 30 km from Ghent and 45 km from Brussels. It is a place to relax and to enjoy nature and each other. You can make beautiful walks or bicycle tours to explore the area. In the beautiful little village, build on a hill and within walking distance, you can see the little church from 1148 and a private castle from 1626. The B&B and Restaurant Alexandre are located in front of the castle. In the village center, there is a café and... a chocolate shop! No doubt you are in Belgium!

We stayed for 3 nights at Toon's place in Herzele. Perfect place to make nice cycle trips and for visits like Oudenaarde and Gent. Toon's place is a beautifully restored farmhouse with lots of space and with lots of amenities. We enjoyed it all. Toon is a host as you wished. Thanks Toon. Greetings from Jan & Arno

Staying with Toon is an experience in itself. The house is full of history, the garden pristine and the location in the countryside gives a peace and calm you can't find in a city. Toon goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, which included an amazing breakfast. The bed was also great. We experienced this location as a perfect base for exploring Belgium by car.

What an experience, the highlight of our roadtrip in the BENELUX. This place is a hidden gem, and worht the drive into the beautiful countryside. You can not wish for a better romantic and enjoyable stay. The host Toon and Joren are so welcoming and positive. Our wine & conversations were so nice and good fun. Go ahead and book before its taken by somebody else.

Toon and Jeroen have done a splendid job here on their farm. The experience in the gipsy wagon is fantastic, and the jacuzzi and sauna provide the ultimate relaxation. Rarely felt so relaxed after a weekend getaway! We're already planning to come back.

We stayed in the gypsy wagon... a beautiful and fun place to spend the night. The caravan is also cozily decorated and equipped with a comfortable bed. A nice little terrace completes it... especially with a sunset included. We were able to use the jacuzzi and sauna. Toon and Jeroen are wonderful people who give tips about the area. The delicious breakfast in bed completed the picture. We can only recommend this place. We would love to come back. Sabine and Wim.

An unforgettable experience. A wonderful couple in a wonderful place. Sauna and jacuzzi available, nice breakfast. It was very nice to discover the Flemish Ardennes.
