The Reveal
Check in and get ready to relax! This gorgeous courtyard guest room is nestled in a courtyard garden between an art studio and architecturally beautiful house of contemporary Japanese design influence. The garden has pathways and lots of flowers and stonework. The art studio is open for viewing and use by guests as is the house. The library is one of a kind! The kitchen is beautiful and the house is full of artwork. Each room is private and there are two shared bathrooms in the courtyard. Each bathroom comes with a very nice tiled hot shower, towels and soap/shampoo. The whole property is one garden after another and is surrounded by the Manistee National Forest. It's stunning here every season of the year. Guests will have full privacy in their rooms. Most of the rest of the spaces are shared, but the grounds and home are expansive and offer lots of private areas.

Hello! My name is Rob and I built my dream home out in the wilderness of the Manistee National Forest after pursuing my art career in DC and NYC. I am a major nature enthusiast and trout fisherman. Rob's place is beautiful, simple, and clean. It is a peaceful getaway in the woods with multiple gardens. Rob is super friendly and, seemingly, always smiling and cheerful. The location is back in the woods but not too far from downtown Big Rapids. You would never know that the big retail stores and quaint downtown are no more than 10 miles away. Be aware the last mile of the road has some hills and bumps. I definitely recommend a stay here if you really want to feel away from it all.

It just couldn't be more perfect, that's where I found my solitude at. Sometimes you just need escape the normal life for a while. To find ourselves, this tranquil, peaceful, beautiful place is what we need. I'm pretty sure you'll love this place! I extremely recommend this place. Rob is gracious, considerate, decent guy!!! Love him and his home.
