The Reveal
The calm of the countryside right in the center of town! A characterful duplex in a traditional Corsican house with thick stone walls, set in gardens just a stone's throw from the town: the historic center, the port and the train station (bus terminal for the airport) are a 10-minute walk away. Furnished with a separate bedroom upstairs and shower room, our studio can accommodate up to three people (double bed + single bed and/or convertible).
The non-smoking apartment comprises a vaulted living room on the garden level (terrace with garden furniture), fully-equipped kitchenette, sitting area with sofa bed (1-seater futon for extra sleeping on request).
Upstairs bedroom with double bed (140 x 190), bathroom with shower and toilet, large closets.
Facilities: crockery, fridge, microwave, electric hob, extractor fan, washing machine, TNT TV, coffee maker, toaster, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner... ADSL internet connection in living room with WiFi router.
Bed linen and towels provided for two people (double bed) as part of the basic package. Rates per night from 55 to 75 euros and weekly rates according to season (see calendar). Extra charge of 30 euros per additional bed (sofa bed in the living room). If you have any special requests, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Minimum stay: 3 nights. Reduced rates from one week upwards. Utilities (hot water, heating, internet) and tourist tax included in the price. Cleaning package available (optional 30 euros) at the end of your stay for total freedom.

Ideal accommodation for discovering Bastia (city of art and history), its museum (free from October to April), its monuments (churches and oratories), its festivals (January: Italian cinema; March-April: BD à Bastia, E Teatrale; October: Musicales de Bastia; November: Artemare...) and the surrounding area: Cap Corse, the Saint Florent region (Patrimonio vineyards (Nuits de la guitare festival), the Agriate Desert...) and, less than an hour's drive away, the central mountains (Monte Cinto, Asco, Vergio and the GR20), Corte and its Museum or Castagniccia with its typical villages (Cervione, Morosaglia...), Aleria and its Etruscan remains (museum).
Pleasant and uncrowded from March to October, the first beaches are less than two kilometers away (l'Arinella, lido de la Marana with naturist spot).

Michel is an exceptional host, present and welcoming. The studio comprises a ground floor area, bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor, is well-designed with all the comfort, but it is its location that changes everything. You are in the countryside surrounded by olive trees, gardens a few hundred meters from the town and its amenities. I stayed there with pleasure.

Ideally located studio, close to the center of Bastia, quiet, perfectly equipped and with a superb view. The oranges and plums from the garden are delicious :) Michel is a very good host who knows how to welcome people with kindness and attention. I recommend it with eyes closed!

Upon our arrival, Michel was waiting for us to guide us to our apartment, behind the main house on the hillside, well-positioned to overlook Bastia with a beautiful view all the way to the sea. Very picturesque surroundings with orange trees, lemon trees still bearing fruit, avocado trees, etc. In the evening, no light pollution—complete darkness that allowed us to see fireflies and glowworms. No traffic noise except for the wind rustling through the leaves. After the apartment tour, Michel praised his entire island (he's not stingy with information). Very good location, 15 minutes on foot from the port or the old town center of Bastia and for visiting northern Corsica.

Great stay in Bastia. The studio has everything u need for a holiday stay. In a quiet area of Bastia but only 10-15 min walk to the centre of town. Michel was a super host, picking me up at the bus terminal and dropping me off early Saturday morning to catch a train. The freshly picked oranges and lemons was a bonus.
