This small studio flat in the heart of Trastevere has been recently renovated, it is fully equipped and it is split on two levels. In the main floor downstairs you will find a living room with a sofa bed, dining table, a bathroom with a large fully tiled shower and a kitchen leading to a small balcony overlooking the building's courtyard, where you can linger in the mornings while you drink your first coffee. The sleeping and studio area is on the mezzanine level ensuring privacy for work and a great night's sleep. It is an open space divided by a nice and spacious wardrobe, with one double bed and a futon. The mezzanine level has low ceilings, so it is mainly a place to relax and sleep. The wooden ladder leading to the beds area is with no handrail.

There is free wifi, TV and indipendent central heating and it is suitable for 2 people.

The location is perfect in a quiet street off Piazza San Cosimato, which ensures a nice and quiet stay in the very heart of Trastevere's lively neighbourhood.

I have been a lucky commuter for a long time between Rome, London and Berlin. What I love about this is the opportunity to experience each city like an insider, spending enough time in each town and build up a network of friends and extended family. I like to feel at home in all the cities I love and I love to make people feel at home when they come to Rome and wish to spend time at my place. I have been managing this flat with my ex-partner Elisabetta, musician. We are new to Mister BandB but we have a long and rewarding experience as hosts. After all life is all about meeting people and share knowledge and experiences, with an open mind and an open heart.

Trastevere is a good mix of old and new, where you can still meet and feel the local neighbourhood's life while strolling around the ancient alleys and streets that spring from its very heart In Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. The restaurants and bars scene is very lively, with new openings which cater for all kind of visitors: from the pizza lovers to the more sophisticated travellers. Starting your day drinking a lovely caffè in one of the bars and spend some time just sitting and listening to the neighbourhood coming to life after a busy night, is one of the most pleasant moments that I still enjoy after many years in the area. Round the corner from the flat there is a farmers' market open every day except Sunday and all around you can find supermarkets, bars, a bank, a bookshop just 10 minutes walk from home. Also, not to be missed, The Gianicolo, Rome's highest hill known for one of the greatest view of the city, is just 500 metres from the apartment. Trastevere was home of the first gay bars and discos in the eighties ☺ Like the Garbo cafe and the then-famous disco Angelo Azzurro.
