You'll be close to the birthplace (20 min) of Jean de la Fontaine, where you can explore the museum and the streets he walked. You can also visit the Château de Chateau-Thierry and many other museums, as well as the eagle show. There are plenty of restaurants, a bowling alley and a cinema...
You'll also be just 20 minutes from Soissons, the town of the famous vase, which is just as lively as its predecessor. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit, as well as a wide range of activities (laser games, cinema, walking, shopping...).

A walk to La Hottée du diable, less than 10km away, will give you the chance to admire some superb scenery with fine sand and plenty of rocks to climb :)
4km away is a peaceful spot where you'll find a blue lagoon surrounded by fine white sand - amazing in Picardy! Many film shoots, fashion shows, etc. have taken place here. You can take a stroll or enjoy a meal by the lagoon.
