Sayulita is ******** destination in Mexico as well as a top yoga mecca and fishing village. Several surfing shops in town offer lessons and equipment rental. The back patio in Casa Boho is set up as a yoga studio. A private yoga instructor can be arranged for you. Fishing trips, dinner, sunset & booze cruizes, Whale watching, snorkeling, scuba diving, horseback riding, guided jungle hikes, mountain bike tours and more... all can be booked at any of the tour guides around town. Whale watching is best from January through March. Fishing is good year round, the best time for Marlin and Mahi Mahi is Sept-Dec and tuna is Jun-Sept. Several bars, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Of course you simply must hit the beach while you are in Sayulita! We will help you out with beach bags, beach towels and chairs for you to use during your stay. Beaches include the main Playa Sayulita where you can watch the surfers, enjoy some great food and drink or buy some souvenirs from the local vendors. Playa De Los Muertos, or "Beach of the Dead" (named for the nearby cemetary) is one of our favorites and my personal favorite, Playa Carricitos. Carricitos is a little more challenging to get to, you will have to hike down from the road... and carry everything with you... there are no bars or restaurants serving Playa Carricitos... maybe that's why it's not too crowded! Wildlife lovers will have to witness a sea turtle release from Aug-Dec on the North end of Playa Sayulita. It can be quite a moving experience to witness the baby turtles struggle to get to the ocean. There are many nearby jungle trails to explore. Make sure you take plenty of water with you!!
