Upon your arrival, you will be greeted at the door by Mark and Ari Engelhardt - your hosts. Ari is a retired chef from Manhattan who trained in the French tradition. His breadth of knowledge and appreciation for food and wine includes most styles and traditions. Mark is a classically trained musician, who continues to work as a church musician in the Anglican tradition, and performs regularly as an organ and piano recitalist.

Our Neighborhood:
Sayville, New York is a charming hamlet in the town of Islip. Situated on the South Shore of Long Island, it is about one hour from Manhattan, Penn Station, and approximately one hour to the air-trains to JFK International Airport. Also, our house is a ten minute drive from MacArthur Airport. In addition to shopping on Main Street, you will find golf at a number of nearby courses, a small beach and park by the Bay, and the Loughlin Vineyard tucked away on the Roosevelt Estate.
