Traditional Japanese House- tatami room

It's a five star staying experience! Great location, very nearby to 池袋, subway, bus, walking, perfect transportation! There is 24 hour mart nearby too. The hosts are so welcome and we had nice communication! The day I arrived the time is so late, they keep waiting me and gave me help! So it's perfect! Everything!

Absolutely lovely time! Only a flying visit but the hosts were extremely hospitable.

Jason is a man who warmly welcomes you in his beautiful traditional Japanese house located in a very quiet neighborhood, and his husband Masuto is a very respectful man with a cordial treatment, he has very good energy. The house is located near Kanamecho Station which connects to just one stop from Ikebukuro and from there you are connected with the entire city which makes it a perfect location. For me, the experience of sleeping on a tatami is fine for a day but I would prefer to sleep in a bed, I'm at an age where that matters. It was very cold during my stay in early April, the cold doesn't suit me well. I recommend 100%

I absolutely loved my time staying here. I loved the convenient location near 2 metro lines. The house is charming as are the hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. They were always helpful when I had a question about the city. Staying here made my first trip to Tokyo fantastic! I highly recommend it!

Masoto and Jason are very friendly and welcoming with a great sense of humor and lots of good tips for your stay in Tokyo. The house is large and quiet, the area peaceful but not lacking in services/restaurants and well-located near a major train station and a shopping mall. We had a fantastic two-week stay with them while exploring Tokyo!

I had a great time exploring Tokyo from this beautiful home. The hosts were both perfectly welcoming and answered all my questions about how to get around, what to avoid, etc. VERY helpful for a first time visitor to Japan. I would not only recommend staying here to anyone, I would also stay here again!

Jason and his husband Massato are very welcoming hosts. They live in a beautiful house with all the comfort you can wish for. The room was clean and the futons very comfortable. We could use the washing machine for laundry and the kitchen for cooking (though we didn't take them up on that last offer). They were very helpful in giving advice on where to go, what to visit and how to get there and back. The perfect hosts. Looking forward to meet again!
