The Reveal

The Granary is a recently converted 110 year old grain shed (remodeled Summer 2020). It features a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, bedroom loft and beautiful .75 bath. Located on the West side of Mount Vernon, it is minutes from I-5, yet situated on a 40-acres of farmland, next to an original barn and behind the main farmhouse. Good WiFi for work, ramp access and a ground-level hide-a-bed. Large West-facing deck and hot tub to enjoy sunsets.

The Granary is located behind the 110-year-old “Farmhouse at Avon Acres” and shares the same driveway for access. It is ~100 years old itself, but was recently remodeled and is functionally brand-new in every regard, and makes use of several salvaged materials from the original structure as well as others.

Alex and Marie met in Chicago, IL and moved to Seattle shortly after. After falling in love with the beauty of Skagit County, they figured a full time move was necessary and they stumbled upon this beautiful property you are at. This has been the perfect place to become hobby farmers, foster parents and ******** hosts-all things that we love! Alex is a local firefighter and also works in IT and Marie is a previous Social Worker in Seattle and both are happy to answer any questions you may have or provide recommendations
