Bright and spacious - a quiet yet social place for a few nights

I'm generally relaxed and enjoy hearing stories about travel and adventure. When I am in town I am happy to host people who need a bit of privacy and are looking for a good sleep.

I'm an environmentalist and marine biologist and so spend a lot of time underwater and traveling around. I attempt to grow plants and drink lots of coffee and wine. The usual good stuff.

You will have your own room while the living space and bathroom (toilet) are shared with me and my plants.

The apartment is located in a residential part of Zürich, near Triemli, Wiedikon, and the Üetliberg. In this quiet building, you will have privacy with all the comforts you need for a longer stay. The area and neighbours are quiet, meaning you can get some rest while still being close enough to the centre. Plenty of natural light makes this bright apartment shine during the day, while adjustable lighting makes it comfortable at night. It is clean and efficient, in true Swiss style. There is one large bedroom for use, fitted with a queen bed. The stylish couch can be extended to make a comfortable extra bed. A variety of duvets are available for different seasons to keep you warm at night. Inside the large bedroom is an adjustable work station excellent for home office days. The toilet and bathroom are bright and clean. The shower / tub is spacious with good ventilation. The dining room / workspace fits 6 to 8 people, while the kitchen is fully equipped. Dishes are Swiss-made (and super cool) and there are even real wine glasses. The kitchen has been designed for maximum counter space and functionality so that you can prepare your meals. There is a large balcony with barbeque and a table with chairs. The apartment is on an upper floor. There are stairs and an elevator. For a relaxing evening, there is a projector connected to a full range of television channels while the entire apartment is connected with an excellent sound system. Connections to tram # 14, #3, bus #89, #80 are all within a couple minutes, while a Coop, Migros, and Denner are all within short walking distance. The apartment is designed to be enjoyed by those seeking a comfortable haven in Zürich.
