It's a 15-min drive to downtown or the Portland airport. We are painfully close to some of the best food and drink in town! Our guest house is bright, luxurious & private. Imagine enjoying the comfort and privacy of home in one of the most desirable and convenient locations in Portland. Come stay in our beautifully built cottage that mimics the 1912 Craftsman bungalow (main house) that it sits directly behind.
We’re focused on offering you the comforts of home with a queen-sized Serta pillow-top mattress, quality pillows, and plush, cotton towels and sheets. You will actually get a good night’s sleep here! The bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen are ready for a comfortable stay. Enjoy relaxing in the living room, in front of the cozy fireplace, and lots of natural light!
The downstairs couch features a fold-out bed that can accommodate up to two guests (double bed), complete with bedding (please be sure to note the need for these extra linens when making your reservation). There is also adequate space upstairs to set up your pack-n-play or portable crib (not provided).
Accommodations: House, 1 Bedroom + 1 Convertible Bed, Sleeps 3-4, 1.5 Baths, A/C. Please contact owner with special requests. Maximum number of guests is four ********.

Highlights include: the Pearl District, Oregon Zoo, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Powell’s Books, tax-free shopping, Chinese Garden, Japanese Tea Garden (claimed to be the best one outside of Japan!), MANY breweries, Portland Farmer’s Market or Saturday Market, McMenamins Kennedy School, Voodoo Donuts, Blue Star Donuts, Portland’s many food carts, bike paths galore, gay strip clubs (totally nude!) and bars, Columbia Gorge (including Rooster Rock State Park, a 25-minute drive from our house, that features a clothing optional beach popular with the gay community), Willamette Valley (world-renowned Pinot Noirs), International Rose Test Garden, Hoyt Arboretum, Ground Kontrol Arcade, Pacific Ocean beaches (about 90 minutes from our guest house), Tillamook Creamery and Cheese Factory (about 75 minutes from our house), Portland Trailblazers (NBA), Portland Timbers (MLS), catch a movie at one of Portland’s many "brew ‘n’ view" movie theatres, Portland Art Museum, take a hike in Forest Park (largest urban park in the lower 48), see Shakespeare in the Park, or explore Oregon's fascinating maritime history at the Oregon Maritime Museum. The cottage is all yours and is completely detached. The outside space is shared with the hosts. If the driveway is empty, you're welcome to use it for parking. Otherwise, there is plenty of on-street parking (please try to park directly in front of our main house, 1625, if possible).
We do not allow smoking or vaping of any kind inside the unit, and ask that you smoke at least 20' from the house if you must smoke. (We will withhold your ******** if there is any evidence of smoking inside of the house.) Although we love pets, we are not able to accommodate them.
