Quiet room, 20 m2 in a bright attic centrally located in Kreuzberg

Beautiful place in the city center. We enjoyed the apartment and Josef was very attentive and helpful. I totally recommend.

As we're inexperienced American tourists, I hesitate to be too harsh, but this was one of the strangest places we've stayed. We never met our host as he was out of town (I noticed other guests have left similar comments), so that left his 2 roommates. One spoke little English, the other none, and neither provided a tour or reviewed any guidelines. But then there was another person whom I met as I stepped out of the shower in only a towel; he appeared to be teaching German (?) to some woman. As a "misterB&B," for gay men, I wasn't prepared for this. Also, nothing provided in the way of water, coffee or tea, etc... at any time of day (all other misterB&Bs we've stayed at in Europe provided at least tea and coffee in the morning). There was a washing machine in the bathroom, but we weren't allowed to use it until mid-afternoon; no dryer or drying racks provided, so we just went to a laundromat. Bathroom had a strange odor I still can't describe, other than to say it was offensive. Black mold around the skylight in our bedroom. Perhaps all of this is nothing to new to European travelers, but I would suggest fellow Americans ask lots of questions of the host before booking this place.

Had a wonderful 7 day stay at Josef's apartment. Unfortunately he was out of town so did not get to meet him but his flatmate Ben looked after me. The room is massive with a very comfortable bed. Even being in a block of apartments in a built up area it was very quiet. The main cross town U1 and U3 lines are very close as is the station for the airport train. I will definitely stay again if I am in Berlin.

The apartment is very spacious and very well located in Kreuzberg. Josef has been a good host. I would certainly recommend this place. We had a great time.

A gem in the heart of Kreuzberg. Everything to our complete satisfaction. The reception is warm, a beautiful room with a large bed awaits. Kitchen and bathroom are spacious, bright and clean. The roof terrace with a view of the greenery invites you to have interesting conversations. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you very much. :)

Josef is very welcoming and friendly. His flat is spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy. There are two other co-inhabitants but you hardly see them, privacy is top! Excellent location with free car parking. Loads of restaurants nearby. Easy connection to public transport. Nice of Josef to provide fluffy towels and a fan during the hot weather. Wifi is not high speed, no problems with web browsing or normal work on laptop. But no chance for Netflix. Overall, a great deal! Thank you Josef!

The host Josef was very friendly and kind. There was no single problem with check in and check out. Definitely recommend Josef's place and we would like to visit again.
