Beautiful house and large garden in Burgundy.

A charming house just a 15-minute walk from the Sermizelles-Vezelay train station. Situated in a small village at the gateway to the Morvan, the house boasts a vast 4000m2 garden planted with trees and ideal for recharging your batteries, and is a 3-minute walk from a pretty river ideal for swimming, cooling off or canoeing. The property is not far from Avallon, Vezelay and its magnificent basilica (one of the starting points for the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route).

From Paris, the house is easily reached in 2h30 (from the A6 freeway or by TER), as are the many activities on offer in the region. The Village, in the heart of the countryside, is surrounded by forests and close to the river "la Cure". It also boasts a restaurant serving excellent cuisine, as well as a famous wine shop selling delicious organic and natural wines.

The house comprises :

A lovely living and dining room with usable fireplace, beautiful armchairs, chaise longue and table seating 7. A TV room with sofa bed, very large TV with over 220 channels included, DVD player and large selection of DVDs. Two separate bedrooms with double beds (one 180x200, the other 160x200) and fireplaces. A shower room and two separate toilets (one on each floor). A fully-equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, hob, utensils, etc.). Laundry room with washing machine and freezer. Bed linen and towels are provided, and beds are made up on arrival.

The garden is very large, with many species of ancient trees, several pieces of garden furniture for eating or resting, as well as various out-of-the-way corners.
