Scenic Lucca Countryside Apartment with Pool, Tuscany

General rules ● Smoking is not allowed. ● House & pool towels are intended for use on the property and should not be taken to the beach. ● Pets are not allowed. ● Parties or events are not allowed. ● If you’d like to invite visitors who are not included in your reservation, please check with us first before they come to the property. Unauthorized visitors or overnight guests are not permitted. ● Quiet hours are between 23:00 and 07:00. ● Please turn off the air conditioners/heaters and all other electronic devices every time you leave the house. Toilet ● We are on a septic system. Please only human waste and toilet paper in the toilet. ● Also, in the kitchen, please capture any food waste material in the sink and put it in the organic/compost bin which is on the kitchen counter. Dehumidifier ● The humidity is very high in Lucca. For this reason, we have a dehumidifier in the house. Please empty the water tank every day. We would be very grateful. Thank you. Windows, Shutters, Screens ● If the shutters are open but the window is closed, please make sure the screens (mosquito nets) are down anyway. We have crows that will attack the windows because of their reflection. Opening the shutters ● When you open the shutters and secure them on the walls, please make sure the slats on the shutters are open. ● Note: One window in the bedroom has its shutters locked in an open position. The wind becomes too strong, and they have repeatedly broken the shutters. We have blackout curtains on both windows in the bedroom for your convenience. Rainstorms in the country ● Rainstorms in the countryside can be unpredictable and can cause random power outages and internet outages. Hopefully, this will not happen during your stay, but we wanted you to know just in case. Kitchen window above the sink. ● The kitchen faucet can be moved downward to allow the window above to be opened and closed. Front Door is Armored ● In the case of a lost key, a lost key fee will be determined by the door company when it is replaced. Laundry ● Washing Machine: Please use the anti-calcium solution that is provided in the middle (2nd) slot of the washing machine detergent drawer for every wash. ● Washing Machine: Laundry detergent goes in the first slot (on the far left). ● Dryer: Please empty the water reservoir and lint trap between each load that is dried. Trash Trash is picked up daily, except on Sundays. Bins are placed at the front of the main house. If you don’t have enough trash to take out daily, feel free to wait until the last day of your visit. You’re also welcome to leave your trash when you check out, we’ll take care of it. Monday – non-recyclable items Tuesday – Compost Wednesday – Paper Thursday – Recyclables (but not glass) Friday – Compost Saturday – Glass Departure ● The check-out time is 10:30 AM but we are often flexible. ● You can leave any remaining trash in the house. We will take care of it. ● Leave the sheets on the beds. ● You can leave any used towels in the bathroom hanging or on the floor. ● Please wash dishes, pots and pans before leaving. You can leave them in the dish drainer provided. ● Make sure everything is turned off. ● Leave the keys on the kitchen table or in the door when you leave.
