As my arrival day approached, I was concerned that I hadn't heard from the host. I sent a message but didn't get a reply, which made me nervous. He did eventually reply and all was sorted. He wasn't going to be around but he had arranged for his friend to greet me. His friend was lovely and even carted my suitcase up the three flights of rather steep stairs. He also followed up the next day and came over for a chat. The place is quite spacious in the living area. The bed was comfortable. There was no aircond but the portable fan was enough, with the windows open. The host said they had cleaned but there remained an ashtray with butts in it on the kitchen sink, along with a rack full of dishes. Aside from that, everything was fine.
