Access to Mohawk River (and bike path) via private dock with provided kayaks, canoe, & bikes. Beautiful large yard offers a true oasis in the city with a fire pit, grill, koi pond, and patio.
Walking distance to the best of downtown Schenectady, Proctors Theater, Rivers Casino, and just 1 block to bus line. Easy access to I-890 and walking distance to the Amtrak station.

Schenectady- while lovely and historic, does not have a hopping gay scene. At 20 minute drive to Albany and you will find a few gay bars. Waterworks, Rocks, and Oh Bar.

My home address is 48 Washington Ave, Schenectady, NY 12305.
I recommend you use the Map app on an iPhone or Waze to assist with directions. ******** maps is incorrectly directing drivers to an address in Scotia (on the other side of the river) rather than in Schenectady.
However if you prefer to use ******** Maps -
I recommended entering my next door neighbor’s address: YWCA of North Eastern NY at 44 Washington Ave, Schenectady, NY 12305. That address will lead you to my house. I’m next door at 48 Washington.
There are usually plenty of street parking spots in front of my house.
If you do need to unload luggage - feel free to use the driveway in front of the garage.
Entrance to the unit is through the iron gate to the left of the garage.
