I am a single guy (with two very affectionate young cats) living in an emblematic, non-touristy neighborhood in the center of Barcelona. I rent a single room with an extra large bed in a recently renovated apartment in a classic ******** residential building. The metro station is a 4 minute walk and the old town is 15 minutes away. Eixample is 15-20 minutes walking distance as well.
About the room: the bed is very comfortable and the mattress is 5* hotel quality. There is a ceiling fan and a large closet in your room to store your belongings, as well as a bedside table, chair and lock on the door. You have full access to all the apartment facilities: kitchen with coffee maker and kettle, living room with a balcony for hanging out and a huge terrace on the top floor. Attention: the apartment is on the fourth floor without elevator.

Please note that I have 2 young cats, Csibi & Tibi. If you are allergic to cats, perhaps it s better if you consider other accommodations, although the cats don t enter the guest room does not enter unless invited by leaving the door open.
The room is advertised for one person. Although it has a 190x135 double bed and a large closet, it is small, ideal for solo travelers. You can store your suitcase inside or on top of the closet and use the wardrobe to store your belongings. There is a bedside table with a light and 4 sockets, as well as a chair. You are welcome to use the common areas of the apartment. There are two bathrooms: one is a full bathroom and the other is a toilet with sink.
On request you can use the office for work.
Visiting guests under consent of host.
