I am a single man (with two very affectionate young cats), and I live in the very distinctive but non-touristy neighborhood of Poble Sec, practically in the center of Barcelona. I am renting out a single room with a large bed (135 x 195) in a newly renovated apartment in a classic residential building. The L3 (green) metro station is a 4-minute walk away, and the “old city” is 15 minutes away. The “Gaixample” is also a 15–20-minute walk away, although the new Gaixample is actually Poble Sec itself. Don’t miss it!

About the room: the bed is very comfortable, and the mattress (Pikolin) is 5-star hotel quality. There’s a ceiling fan and a large closet to store your belongings, as well as a nightstand with a lamp and a chair. The door has a lock. You have full access to all the apartment’s amenities: a kitchen with a coffee maker and kettle, a living room with a balcony where you can hang out (or smoke), and a large terrace on the top floor. The apartment is on the fourth floor without an elevator.

- Safety and discretion are paramount because you'll be staying in a residential building. - For safety reasons, please refrain from inviting guests. - Please keep noise to a minimum after midnight. - Please take good care of the key you are given. Always take the key with you before you walk out the door because once it’s locked, you’ll only be able to open it with the key (there’s no doorknob on the outside). - Nudism: As the host, I wouldn’t feel comfortable being naked at home when there’s a guest. Now, if you walk from the bathroom to your room naked, that’s fine. But I don’t label my home as “nudist.” Up on the sun deck, you can practice nudism without any problem. I have two young cats: Csibi and Tibi. If you’re allergic to cats, it might be best to consider other accommodations, although the cats don’t go into the guest room unless you let them in. The room is listed for one person. It’s small but has a double bed (195x135) and a large closet. You can store your suitcase inside or on top of the closet and use the wardrobe to store your belongings. There is a nightstand with a lamp and 4 outlets, as well as a chair. You can use the apartment’s common areas: bathroom, kitchen, living room, balcony, and upper terrace. If you need to work, you can use my office.

My stay at Gabor's apartment has been absolutely perfect. Gabor is a super friendly guy who always takes good care. His cats are beautiful 😍 The apartment is very nice, has good air conditioning, and a fan in the bedroom so you don't sleep hot. Well located near the Metro, I recommend his room. Wow what can I say. Gabor is by far the most kind, generous and wonderful host I've ever met. His apartment is beautiful, with a nice room and super comfortable bed. Location is excellent, walking, biking and taking public transport everywhere is easy. It felt like I stayed with a friend or wonderful flatmate. I will definitely come back and highly recommend everyone to book your stay with Gabor. 🙏🏼

Gabor is a great host. He is very welcoming and makes sure everything is OK. We had nice chats during my stay. He even drove me to the beach. The flat is very nice in an old building. The terrace is great, perfect for breakfast. The bedroom has no window but it was OK. His two cats are very friendly and easy to live with. The location is great also, it is near the Montjuic hill with nice and quiet parcs and beautiful views on the city. You can also easily join the ramblas by foot or the other touristic points by metros.
