Hotel Atlanta is on the edge of the lively Rembrandt Square with many bars, clubs and restaurants, only a 3-minute walk from the Flower Market. The painter Piet Mondriaan lived and painted in this hotel between ********.

Examples of Mondriaan's paintings can be seen on the walls throughout the hotel. There are rooms with shared bathroom facilities in the hallway and more luxurious rooms with a private bathroom. Every room has Wi-Fi.

More like a hostel than a hotel, but the room was clean, and the shared bathrooms were very adequate. Other commenters mentioned the steepness of the stairs, which is pretty common in Amsterdam, but seem particularly steep for this place. If you have any form of accessibility issue this is probably not the place for you. Also note that it's close to some of the local bars and clubs and you can hear the music on weekends late into the night. That said the location was perfect and for the same reason.
