Hotel Seibel is located across from the Oktoberfest grounds and close to public transportation to get anywhere in the lovely city of München. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very impressive with a nice array of traditional and tasty options. My single room was tiny, for the price, with very little room to move around or relax (other than on the single bed). The advertising suggested more amenities not currently available. Again, good location, staff, and breakfast.

We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, €35. The man at the counter let us check in early. The floors are wooden and noisy outside the room. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a good location for sightseeing downtown. The next morning we had the breakfast provided and it was very good. We asked the man at the counter to call a taxi to the airport for us. He called his friend on his cellphone and we were charged €110 after the ride back to the airport. Beware the front desk man's scam.
