“What a great place! I booked a bed in a 10 person mixed hostel room. Check in was quick and friendly, the room was clean, cool and quiet. The bathroom was clean, the water was hot and the pressure was great. The bed was comfortable and I got a good nights rest. Location is close to all the things I wanted to be near. Highly recommended!”

Located in the heart of Key West, Seashell Motel offers a comfortable and convenient stay within walking distance of many of the island’s most popular attractions, including Duval Street, the Southernmost Point, and nearby beaches.

Our newly renovated guest rooms feature updated bathrooms and are designed for a comfortable Key West stay. Each room includes free WiFi, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

Bicycle rentals are available on-site, making it easy to explore Key West. Daily housekeeping and vending machines are also available for added convenience. The property offers complimentary on-site parking, subject to availability.

Seashell Motel is approximately a 7-minute walk from the Southernmost Point, a 10-minute walk from Higgs Beach, and a 15-minute walk from Duval Street. Restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and many of Key West’s popular attractions are also within easy reach. The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is just a short distance away.

What a great place! I booked a bed in a 10 person mixed hostel room. Check in was quick and friendly, the room was clean, cool and quiet. Not the best experience. And, it doesn't seem to be all that gay friendly. Although, the ******** appeared to be helpful and accommodating to everybody. I think he's a plus for the location. However, and not that he can control it, the motel attracts some "narly" types who I'd venture to say are definitely not gay friendly. It's true. You get what you pay for and Seashell Motel & Hostel fits that expression to the tee. Noise levels, especially at night (even a weeknight) are off the radar loud. Guest behavior and demeanor is mostly OK but a few bad apples sour the experience for everybody else and bring down the location's reputation. What a mistake I made—albeit out of last minute desperation—to have agreed (at my age🤣) to think I could tolerate a shared bedroom and shower situation. Never again, and unless I get a private room—never again at Seashell Motel & Int'l Hostel😔

Cheap overnight stay, off season. Young stay in dorms, near Fort Zack & beach. Walk an interesting part of KW.
