Steve·5·Jul. 2026· "Lloyd was a kind, generous and thoughtful host for me. He's an interesting man with whom I thoroughly enjoyed conversation. I appreciated that he got on with his own life while I was there, having people over, sharing dinner, playing games, making me feel part of whatever he had going on. It was so easy to be at Lloyd's house. Great location for downtown Wilmington. Lloyd's little dog, Dexter, is a sweetheart, as he just wants a scratch behind the ears now and then, and if you'll do that, he's your friend. If you're headed to Wilmington NC, and you're not so much looking for the kindness of strangers but rather the kindness of someone who won't be a stranger, talk to Lloyd. You'll be glad you did."

The apartment is very spacious and CLEAN with all mod-cons - in a modern building a ten minute walk from Ostbahnhof U6 station."

Beds were comfortable, host was very kind and social. definitely a great deal especially for an expensive city like Cartagena. I extended my stay a few more days then expected.
