"Hugo was an amazing host. Due to a change in our plans, we reached out to him the night before but he was quick to respond and ready to host us. His place is beautifully designed and in a lively neighborhood with many cute cafés and restaurants around. He gave us some great tips for places to visit."

"Martijn & Bob are fantastic hosts with fabulous place. Open, friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast was a feast for the eyes and mouth and I had a fantastic dinner with them. The whirlpool is exactly what one needs after a day of exploring. And the the sauna is the cherry on top before cozying up in bed. Anytime again and highly recommend"

"I stayed at Cemâs apartment for several nights but ultimately decided to leave 3 days earlier than planned due to the overall experience.
Communication prior to my arrival was clear and efficient, and the check-in process itself was smooth. However, the experience during my stay did not match the expectations set by the listing and our prior exchanges.
There was very little orientation upon arrival, so I had to figure out on my own how to use basic aspects of the apartment (appliances, waste system, etc.), and at times it was difficult to locate or access everyday items such as kitchen towels or toilet paper.
While the listing describes a shared apartment, in practice the use of common areas felt limited. These spaces were frequently used by Cem and his partner (who was not indicated as a regular occupant in the listing), often with the door closed. Although access was not explicitly restricted, this made it feel uncomfortable and less natural to use the space. The partner was also regularly present and used the common areas for activities such as video calls, which further contributed to the sense that these spaces were not readily available for guest use.
Given the nature of the situation, it did not feel like something that could be easily addressed during my stay without creating additional discomfort.
Another aspect worth mentioning is that the indoor temperature dropped to around 16°C at night and reached only approximately 19.5°C during the day, which felt below a comfortable level even while wearing light indoor clothing (such as a T-shirt and shorts), and even more so for an apartment listed as clothing-optional.
Overall, the experience did not reflect what is typically expected from a shared space where common areas can be used naturally and comfortably, and this led me to end my stay earlier than planned.

"Rein and Simon welcomed me with warm hospitalityâand their pups, Flip and Klaartje, were just as charming. The cozy spot on Beethovenstraat made it super easy to zip to Station Zuid (to/from AMS) and hop on trams to explore the city. I was in town to wander and work, and I explored Amsterdam end to endâBos, VUmc, West, Oud-West, Westerpark, NDSM, Noord, Weesperzijde, De Pijp, Centrum. My daily routine became coffeecompany (across the street) and Albert Heijn (around the corner). This was my first time to Amsterdam in November, so coming home to a warm, private room (with the comfiest antique sleigh bed!) and bathroom was perfect. Rein and Simon are globe-trotters with great storiesâcan't wait to visit again and swap more adventures."

"Jay's place is clean and comfy. He is very friendly and chill, and he gave me some recommendations for things to do in Amsterdam. Although this place is not in central Amsterdam, it's probably the best choice if you're planning to visit the city, especially considering the hotel prices and the limited options on MisterBnb. I highly recommend Jay and his place"
