Lovely room in a beautiful apartment in the city center

Cem's place is fantastic. It is easy to get to, and the location is extremely walkable with lots of interesting things to visit in the area. The apartment is very spacious, and it is beautifully decorated. I enjoyed sitting and chatting in the living room. The bedroom is well set-up, and the bed is very comfortable. I slept well! Cem is a perfect host! Check-in was a breeze, and Cem immediately made me feel right at home. I will be staying here when I am next in town, and I highly recommend this place for a great stay in Amsterdam!

I stayed at Cem’s apartment for several nights but ultimately decided to leave 3 days earlier than planned due to the overall experience. Communication prior to my arrival was clear and efficient, and the check-in process itself was smooth. However, the experience during my stay did not match the expectations set by the listing and our prior exchanges. There was very little orientation upon arrival, so I had to figure out on my own how to use basic aspects of the apartment (appliances, waste system, etc.), and at times it was difficult to locate or access everyday items such as kitchen towels or toilet paper. While the listing describes a shared apartment, in practice the use of common areas felt limited. These spaces were frequently used by Cem and his partner (who was not indicated as a regular occupant in the listing), often with the door closed. Although access was not explicitly restricted, this made it feel uncomfortable and less natural to use the space. The partner was also regularly present and used the common areas for activities such as video calls, which further contributed to the sense that these spaces were not readily available for guest use. Given the nature of the situation, it did not feel like something that could be easily addressed during my stay without creating additional discomfort. Another aspect worth mentioning is that the indoor temperature dropped to around 16°C at night and reached only approximately 19.5°C during the day, which felt below a comfortable level even while wearing light indoor clothing (such as a T-shirt and shorts), and even more so for an apartment listed as clothing-optional. Overall, the experience did not reflect what is typically expected from a shared space where common areas can be used naturally and comfortably, and this led me to end my stay earlier than planned.

Cem was a wonderful and thoughtful host. All communications before the visit were clear and helpful. While there, he was attentive to all that would make our stay comfortable. The apartment is beautifully appointed. The location was great as well. Between walking and public transportation, it was an ideal place to explore the wonderful city of Amsterdam.

An absolute deluxe 5-star experience. Cem is a very kind person, a funny guy, a global thinker, and a considerate human being. The place was just as described. I visited the central area of the city and walked there. The Carré, the theatre, is literally 5 minutes away. I felt a bit like living in Amsterdam rather than visiting. As per Cem, he was a great host from the very beginning: everything is clean and organized. House rules are simple and make a lot of sense. Honestly, it felt like staying with a friend.

Cam is an absolute amazing person. He made sure I had all the information and knowledge of the areas. Perfect location with a Tram stop out front and the Metro around the corner. You can get anywhere and quickly. That bed was so comfortable, I found myself dozing off more than once unintentionally. There is a small balcony in your room, with a canal view. I highly recommend Cem, and hope to be back again sometime.

Fantastic stay at Cem's apartment, it is centrally located yet far enough away from the crowds that it is quiet at night. The room is spacious with plenty of storage and an extremely comfy mattress. Cem went above and beyond as a host, he went out of his way to allow me to check in early, he was attentive and gave me much appreciated recommendations. Cem's apartment is centrally located in the city, and we can easily commute to most places either by foot or public transport. The room is quite sizable with plenty of storage space. The mattress is extremely comfortable for a good night's sleep. Cem is very kind and attentive to our needs. He provided very valuable information for us to have an enjoyable holiday. He is one of the best Misterbnb hosts that we have stayed with, and we highly recommend booking his place no matter you're a single or a couple 😊
