Modern Room in Hoofddorp Center – Above Mall, Direct to Amsterdam!

Jay's place is clean and comfy. He is very friendly and chill, and he gave me some recommendations for things to do in Amsterdam. Although this place is not in central Amsterdam, it's probably the best choice if you're planning to visit the city, especially considering the hotel prices and the limited options on MisterBnb. I highly recommend Jay and his place

The apartment was clean and well positioned above a mall. Direct bus from the airport to the apartment. Jay was a very friendly guy and a great host. I'd def stay at his place again.

Stay was very pleasant. Even after arriving extremely late in the evening(due to a delayed train from cologne) which was a bit inconvenient for the host, he was very friendly and provided everything I needed. Despite the inconvenience, Jay was still very friendly and hospitable. The location is fantastic, right above a mall providing everything you need. Extremely close to Schiphol airport making for a convenient departure! Very easy commute to Amsterdam and far away enough for peace. Looking forward to possibly returning in the future!

I loved my stay at Jay’s place. The room is just like in the photos and I felt very comfortable there — plenty of closet space to store my things and a comfortable bed. The double glazing blocks out the outside noise very well, so I slept great. I appreciated how close the room is to the toilet and bathroom, and also the freedom to come and go as I pleased. Jay welcomed me very warmly and made me feel at ease right away. His apartment is ideally located and, incredibly, directly connected by elevator to the shopping mall! There’s truly an impressive variety of shops all around the neighborhood, and on Friday mornings there’s even a market right below his window. I’m honestly a bit jealous that he lives there and has everything within easy reach — it’s super convenient. The train station is 1 kilometer away on foot, and there’s also a bus that stops right outside the building. You can easily take the bus to Haarlem. I also recommend the spot to watch planes land at Schiphol — it’s about a 1-hour walk from his place. You have to cross the polder following ******** Maps, but the show is absolutely worth it. You’ll find yourself just a few meters away from the planes, which come in for landing about every five minutes. It’s quite a spectacular sight.

I had a great stay at Jay's place! He was a fantastic host, very welcoming and responsive. The apartment was spotless, well-organized, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I truly felt at home. I would definitely come back and stay again. Highly recommend!
