It was a delightful experience to enjoy the countryside at this place. Jans and Andreas has been absolutely accommodating and helpful in all my affairs. I truly appreciate them and will miss the quaint and lovely farmhouse by the waterfront. Cheers.

Beauty and tranquility. Both in the idyllic location, surrounded by water on all sides, with sensational sunrises and sunsets, and with only the sounds of waterfowl, and in the tastefully decorated home. Super friendly and helpful hosts. You feel immediately welcome and at home. All amenities as described and in tip-top condition. We enjoyed a wonderful week's stay with Andreas and Jan Willem. An absolute must-visit!

My stay at Jan Willem's place was more than enjoyable. He was away but his friend Andreas took perfectly care of me, always so kind, helpful and thoughtful. A true pleasure to stay in this house facing the little harbour of Schardam. So quiet and relaxing and in the same time, so close to Amsterdam, barely 30 mn by bus. Thus, extremely convenient ! Very easy as well to visit the cities around like Hoorn, Edam or Alkmaar. A perfect nest to enjoy this part of The Netherlands !

We have stayed one night at Jan Willems place. He is a nice and friendly host. The room is good and it does have a bathroom and toilet for private use. The location is right on the IJsselmeer, quiet and away from city noise. Special place, but also near to Amsterdam and other nice places.
