Quiet cozy garden retreat

It is rare to find tranquility in the midst of a bustling, thriving neighbourhood. This private room in a modern 1930’s garden apartment offers just that, a clean & cozy hide away. A few minutes walk from the Vondelpark and Amsterdam’s trendy Oud-Zuid (Old South), it’s a cozy place to recharge after a vibrant day in Amsterdam.

The space:

A bright spacious private room that makes you feel at home. A comfy bed, full wall closet and a small working desk for you to use - accompanied of course with all other necessary 21st century creature comforts!

I rent out the guest bedroom in my garden apartment that consists of 5 shared spaces on 71 sq meters [WiFi everywhere incl. Garden]

- Living room: Grab the cozy couch, put on the gentile lights in the evening and enjoy a movie or Netflix on the large flatscreen.
- Serre & garden: A cozy dining and study/working area (indoor and/or outdoors) in a green oasis of plants that is great to wake up to for a bright beginning to the day. Enjoy a romantic meal nestled in the green outdoors on a sunny day, with the chitty-chatty birds in the midst of Amsterdam
- Island kitchen with brunch bar: Brand new kitchen with an oven & dishwasher. Enjoy a lazy late-morning brunch in or around the kitchen island bar
- Bathroom & (separate) toilet: Draw a warm bath in the tub to rejuvenate from a tiring day. You’ll share the bathroom with me, so the separate toilet will help.
- The hall: Space for your coats & shoes. The wooden floor catches the eye immediately and gives the house a warm welcoming feel.
