He's so friendly and was more than helpful with getting a familiar with the city during our short stay. He even let us borrow an umbrella It's close to the metro and the tram. Near a lot of shops and restaurants. Amsterdam is very walkable and bike friendly, so getting around is simple. Definitely saving his listing next time we visit Amsterdam."

Antony·5·Sep. 2026· "Lee is a phenomenal host. He will give you space if you need it, but he can also chat in the evenings with a glass of wine and have great conversation if that's what you are looking for.
My stay at Lee's was great as I needed to work for a few days, so there was a giant dining table, the bedroom or balcony to escape to take calls. Additionally, as the location is right at Rembrandtplein, you are centre and walking distance to cute neighbourhoods like De Pijp, Museumkwartier. So you aren't always feeling like you are just near Centraal (25-30 mins walk) your whole trip.
Would definitely stay with Lee again!"

Amsterdam city centre is easily accessible by public transport, although I walked there myself. The bedroom is comfortable, with a good bed. The bathroom is somewhat dated, but very clean."

Peter was an amazing host incredibly friendly, welcoming and engaging. I really enjoyed the conversations we had when we were hanging out together, and he made me feel very comfortable in his home.
He also went above and beyond to help me out during my stay. I really wanted a bicycle to get around Rotterdam, and Peter fixed one of his spare bikes so that I could use it. I really appreciated that, it made exploring the city so much easier and was such a thoughtful thing for him to do.
I also appreciated that he invited me to join him and his volleyball friends one evening. Unfortunately the plans changed and it didn’t happen, but I appreciated the gesture and how inclusive he was.
The location is honestly hard to beat. Peter’s place is right in the heart of Rotterdam and only about a 2–3 minute walk from Rotterdam Blaak station, depending on how much luggage you’re carrying! There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and if you prefer to cook like I did, there are also grocery stores within easy reach.
The apartment itself is beautiful, and there is something pretty special about being able to say you stayed inside one of Rotterdam’s most iconic landmarks.
A some practical things worth mentioning, there are quite a few stairs to reach the bedroom, so this may be worth considering if you have knee, leg or mobility issues.
There was also some construction taking place nearby during my stay, it wasn’t particularly disruptive for me as it wasn’t heavy banging or anything like that. There was also no construction noise over the weekend. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, it may be worth checking with Peter beforehand to see whether the work is still going on.
Overall, I had an absolutely fantastic stay. Peter is a wonderful host, the location is exceptional, and staying in the Cube Houses made the experience even more memorable. I would 100% stay with him again."
