Stunning views. Clean rooms that smell like an expensive hotel room. And of course the specular breakfast everyday was more than we bargained for. "Somehow, I felt drawn—almost destined—to stay at The Quiet Man’s Resort while planning my trip to tour the Civil Rights sites in Montgomery, Alabama, and connect with the community. It turned out to be the best decision I made this summer. From the very beginning, Gary and James were wonderful communicators, reaching out well before my trip and staying in touch as I drove up from Fort Lauderdale. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Gary and had the joy of meeting the best boys ever—Bubba and Smokey. From that moment, everything just fell into place. Being with Gary and James felt like reconnecting with uncles I hadn’t seen in years. It was a true pleasure to share dinner with them each of the four nights I stayed. We talked late into the evening, and their warmth and kindness made me feel right at home. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Their tips on local sights and activities were incredibly helpful. And when I needed to relax, the jacuzzi, pool, and peaceful outdoor space provided the perfect setting to unwind and reset. While my room was absolutely stunning, I found it even more fulfilling to spend time outside with Bubba and Smokey—it was just what I needed for my mental well-being. Each morning began with warmth and joy. Coming downstairs to be greeted by Bubba, Gary, James, and Smokey felt like family. Gary made some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, tailored to my preferences. Our conversations were thought-provoking, genuine, and filled with authenticity. I was truly sad to leave. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to create such meaningful and memorable moments. This experience was more than a stay—it was a gift. Love you guys!"

"It was a wonderful stay at Gregg's Home! The House is very clean, you'll find everything you need at his place! We used the BBQ, because we wanted one to not go out for dinner, and even the BBQ was very clean! If we could give more than five stars, we would give definitly more! It's a very quiet and peacelful place! The pool was amazing! There are even more things to talk about, but we honestly just would say that you need to find out by yourself how amazing this place is!
