"Located just a few blocks down from Termini station, Generator is in the middle of everything in Rome (provided you don't mind walking). The neighborhood is definitely gentrifying, but considering the room price, it is not that big a deal. There are plenty of places to get Italian food, Indian food, doner kebabs, and even Chinese within a block or two. There's a Metro stop two blocks away, and Termini station for longer trips. I'll be staying here again the next time I come to Rome!"

"The Plus hostel in Florence was such a treasure, well located, nice tidy rooms and it has pool and saunas! All included for a fair price (except breakfast, which costs an extra fare, but worth it), highly recommended."

"A very nice, clean, up-to-date modern hotel with all the amenities (like modern chargers for the phone) plus a nice spa with a great hot tub to ease your tired feet after your excursions in Milan. The location across from Central Station makes catching your morning train stress free. Plus you have two metro lines that take you to the central area very quickly to see the Duomo and Da Vinci's Last Supper as well as all of the other sites. There are great restaurants in easy walking distance (w/in 15-20 mins. or less). You won't go wrong staying here. The breakfast is top notch and the staff very friendly."

"Host was very helpful and nice. I loved the balcony view of the busy street below and the very tall ceilings. I love small spaces so this was quaint. If you need top shelf accommodations then this might not be your place. I was more than happy with the raw environment of the city. Sharing a bathroom was the most inconvenient part of my stay. Others are not always as clean and considerate but I can handle it for a night or two. I'd stay again and would recommend to anyone on a budget or just wanting minimal accommodations"

"Much attention to the "social" side (bar: you have to fill a form in an app to get a free drink, which is nonsense), and nice communal areas to chill out and work/read. The hotel side of it could definitely be improved. It's ok for one-nighter though."
