"The hotel is as described. It's in a great location to the beach and walking distance to some of the popular destinations like Blondies and the Pier. So close to walk to Mantamar and Blue Chairs Beach Club. The staff accommodated a room change for me since I had an injury and couldn't climb stairs. You received room cleaning everyday and the water was really hot. Actually probably the best out of several places I've stayed before. The room had two bathrooms and the living room with each room was awesome adding the kitchen was great store water and beer."

"This property was accurately described in its advertisement. I stayed one night in the studio apt. that faced the street. It was clean, comfortable, but quite noisy at night from the various clubs up and down the street. The staff was helpful and courteous for check-in and check out."

"Had a great stay at Casa Nudista. The staff were great, the vibes perfectly chill, aside from the pool party day which was a lot of fun. Only issue was the loss of power to the room for 2 nights, meaning no AC or even a fan. But toughed it out in the heat. Loved the convenience of the location and how they handled billing for food, drinks etc. Also had a great mix of folks staying there."

"Had a great experience at this Hotel. I arrived late since my scheduled flight was for the ending part of the day. When I arrived front door was closed, I called a few times but no one answered. I waited for a bit and that's when someone finally came to the door to let me in. Other than that place was perfect for my one night layover in Puerto Vallarta"

"While I gave La Máxima high stars for most aspects, for the first time that I can recall, I must write a bad review. Booking, arrival, check-in, description and location were all fine and as expected. The problem started on the morning of check-out and seemed to be related to an incompetent employee. This young man who seemed to be in charge on the morning of check-out, created a terrible experience and if he remains employed, I will not recommend staying there. All of our correspondence from MisterB&B stated check-out at 13:00hrs. We started the migration to our next location at 12:00 hours and informed him in Spanish accordingly. He muttered (as he wouldn't speak in full sentences to anyone that we noticed), that normal check-out was at 12. We advised him of our booking confirmation and of the 13:00hr check out. He did not respond but again muttered something. When we returned for the last of our bags at 12:55hrs, the cleaning staff had moved our luggage into storage and on arrival, the staff asked us not to enter the room, even though our valuables were locked in the safe. We immediately told them we had a 13:00hr check-out and would indeed be collecting our valuables. I felt bad for the cleaning staff as their apparent male supervisor hid in the background and left them to deal with very upset customers. The cleaning staff understood and stepped out of the way while we retrieved our valuables from the safe. We told them and him, they had no right to touch our personal belongings. They retrieved them from the locked storage and we went along our way. That young man was incompetent, did not have the people skills required for working in the service industry and was totally wrong if he did indeed direct the staff to touch our personal belongings prior to legal check-out. If he did not direct the staff to touch our belongings, then they themselves were wrong to do so. We were very upset and discouraged at such a move. I believe this to be my first negative review ever of accommodations as I have a great understanding that "stuff happens", and usually role with the flow, but this young man's attitude and incompetence was too much to forget."

"Our stay at EXTASIS was very good for the most part. The hotel and restaurant management and staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beach front location on the somewhat low-key (east) end of the beach away from the large more crowded resorts. The unique rooms are adequate other than the small sized mosquito net. A larger mosquito net to fit the bed properly would help. If you're a late night partier / dancer then you're in luck with a dance bar directly next door. If you're an early to bed or light sleeper you'll find it less appealing. We would give location five stars if it wasn't for the loud music next door. Overall, the hotel grounds have great bones. It just looks a bit shabby in need of some organization and TLC."
