The Reveal

CozyInsta-WorthyRelaxing

Welcome to our home! My name is Norbert, and with my husband Max, we've imagined this place as a refuge for those who love raw nature, peace and quiet, long naps and cuddles without a watch on their wrist.

Here, we hibernate in winter... and in summer, we bask in the sun, bare-skinned and light-hearted. Always naked. Always for two. Or three if you feel like it 🐾

Just 10 minutes from Argentat-sur-Dordogne, at the gateway to the Cantal region, our chalet is a rustic-chic haven set in a hectare of private landscaped grounds, just for you. No neighbors, no noise. Just the forest, the creaking wood, the singing birds, and your happy sighs.

🌿 A haven of greenery and wildlife 1 hectare all to yourself: clearings, forest, flower-bedecked embankments, lake views

Collection garden with Japanese maples, grasses, dogwoods, hydrangeas, ferns...

New Perennials, changing with the seasons

Redwood terrace, barbecue, summer lounge, hammock under pergola

Roe deer, woodpeckers, foxes & salamanders - binoculars for the curious

Archery corner, pétanque, reading under the pines

🔥 The chalet (35 m2) 1 double bed + 1 sofa bed

Fully equipped kitchen: American fridge, induction hob, espresso machine, tagine dish

Large walk-in shower, clean and pleasant dry toilet

Wood-burning stove, dressing room, safe

Queer-friendly library: art, cooking, botany

Subdued ambience, bohemian decor, black & white flamenco exhibition

Fiber, TV, cocooning area for snuggling up and staying put

🌈 The pluses that make the difference Canoe, vests and pump supplied

Motorcycle & bicycle shelter, camper spot

Bear-friendly, discreet, caring, safe refuge

Ideal for writing, creating, or just taking a breather

📍 Around Puy Papillon Argentat (10 min): market, cafés, Dordogne, canoe, gabarre

Lac de Feyt (5 min): swimming, paddling

Horseback riding (Appaloosas), mushroom picking

Sothys gardens, organic markets, guinguettes...

In Corrèze, nature is more exuberant than the nightlife, but hearts are open. Argentat (15 min) offers terraces, canoes and a few good restaurants. Brive and Tulle complete the offer with movies, bars and local life. Here, we leave you in peace - and sometimes that's all we ask.

Welcome to Puy Papillon - A cosy, natural refuge for free spirits This place was designed for the love of nature... and freedom. To ensure that every stay is an enchanted interlude, here are a few rules to follow (all in good fun): Respect for nature 🌿 The chalet is nestled in a natural area. Please take care of the plantings and don't trample the beds (even if you're tempted to run naked through the ferns). Pets welcome Your four-legged friends have a hectare to frolic in. Just one word of advice: keep your hands off the rose bushes and bamboo shoots, please. Smoking allowed everywhere 🚬 Even indoors. We're free here. Just open the windows and use the ashtrays. That's what elegance is all about. Barbecue allowed and loved Meat, vegetables, marshmallows or vegetable papillotes... Anything goes, as long as you stay alert. A tap is nearby. We'll light the fire, but not the forest. Eco-friendly dry toilets 💧 Zero stress: everything is well explained, it's simple, odorless, and very eco-friendly. A pinch of sawdust and you're back to nature.

We had a lovely stay in the chalet, despite the temperamental weather. Cosy and well-appointed, in a very quiet location surrounded by greenery, it's the ideal place to take your time and recharge.

Located on large grounds, indeed, as described, you are in a cabin where you feel a bit away from modern life. Very relaxing. Too bad to stay for only one night!
