Make yourself comfortable in my second-floor walk-up. Located two blocks from the Red Line and four blocks from the Purple Line. Just a few blocks from Andersonville, with a wide range of restaurants, several popular gay bars, and a highly regarded LGBT+-friendly gym. I’ll also be living in the unit—we’ll share the living area, kitchen, and bathroom with steam shower while you’ll have your own semi-private bedroom. The bathroom and closet are accessible through your bedroom, so I will pass through briefly on occasion.

The bedroom is equipped with blackout curtains, a Sonos speaker, and some space in the walk-in closet for you.

Street parking is consistently available on the block or within two blocks.

Joe's place in Andersonville is gorgeous, and very comfortable and quiet. Right in one of Chicago's best neighborhoods, it's also just a few blocks from the Red Line, and easily accessible from both airports. Unfortunately, I never actually got to meet Joe, as a family emergency took him out of town the day I arrived, but he was excellent about communicating beforehand, and checked in during my stay to make sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again, no question.

My partner and I stayed at Joe's place for Chicago Pride weekend and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay! The location is close to Boystown, but not too close where we could get away from the busyness and noise. And it's within close walking distance to other local restaurants, businesses, and the train stop to go downtown. Not only is Joe's communication and hospitality exceptional, his place is super clean, updated, and very well decorated with historical art pieces and books. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful sun-lit home in a walkable neighborhood with great cafes and restaurants nearby (Andersonville). Bed is super comfortable. Bathroom is also great. As stated in the description, the semiprivate bathroom and closet are because the gracious host (Joe) occasionally will shower or come in to change- always with a heads up or advanced notice. Supremely aware and ensuring privacy. Joe was so helpful with tips and recommendations. Great stay. Would return.

I had a fabulous stay at Joe's home. It is very well decorated, I loved the style, and it's so comfortable and classy. Joe was one of the friendliest hosts I've ever met and he made us feel at home right upon arrival. He suggested many things to do and knew about the area. The bed was so cozy and the space well worth the money. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend a stay while in Chicago.
