I live right at the CTA Argyle red line station which provides direct access to popular neighborhoods like Boystown (12 mins), River North (20 mins) and The Loop (30 mins). The Broadway bus stops at the corner and Lake Shore Drive is nearby if you want a car to take you anywhere even faster than the times above. The neighborhood of Andersonville is a short walk away and has plenty of gay (and not gay) bars, restaurants, and cafes. Grocery stores, liquor stores, and vintage clothing shops are also nearby. I can recommend day and nighttime activities in all Chicago neighborhoods!
