Its location is exceptional: 10 km south of Sarlat-la-Canéda, in the golden triangle of Périgord Noir and the valley of the five castles (Beynac, Les Milandes - Josephine Baker -, Castelnaud, Marqueysac, Fayrac).

This character property is located on the heights of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, one of France's most beautiful villages, with its castle and historic village overlooking the Dordogne. The property comprises two buildings: the main house for eight people (kitchen, living room, 4 bedrooms) and a barn renovated in 2024 for a further 4 people (2 bedrooms with double/single beds). It's very comfortable and functional for vacations with several families or friends, given the independence between the two buildings.

From the private, secure swimming pool, you can admire the view over the surrounding valley. All in all, an ideal, extremely quiet and intimate location to recharge your batteries in the midst of nature.

In the morning, you may come across a few roe deer in the surrounding meadows.

Last but not least, bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided.

The village of Castelnaud, 3 km away, has an excellent patissier/baker and butcher's shop, as well as several restaurants, a newspaper shop and a hairdresser.

The nearest supermarket is in Cenac-Saint Julien (13km) or Saint Cyprien (idem).
