Nearby Attractions

Situated in the heart of the Petite Camargue, between Nîmes and Montpellier, the house enjoys a privileged location. Just 20 minutes from Montpellier airport and close to sunny Mediterranean beaches, you can reach La Grande-Motte and Le Grau-du-Roi in 25 minutes, or the vast wilderness of Espiguette or Maguelone in 35 minutes.

Lunel-Viel is one of the oldest and most charming villages in the region. Steeped in history, it is home to the ruins of Roman baths dating from the 1st century AD and a Romanesque church dating from the 11th century. Just a stone's throw from the house, the château's park, open to the public, invites you to take a peaceful stroll among a collection of majestic trees, including a Napoleon III-era orangery, listed as a Monument Historique.

The surrounding countryside is ideal for horseback riding, with many trails to explore amidst unspoilt nature. Picturesque villages such as Lunel, Aigues-Mortes and Sommières regularly host lively markets and charming flea markets, where you can discover local treasures.

Nearby, some remarkable historic sites are well worth a visit: the Roman remains of Ambrussum, the majestic medieval cathedral of Maguelone, and the famous Tour de Farges, immortalized by Gustave Courbet in 1857. Whether you're a history buff, a nature lover or just looking to relax, this region, with its rich heritage and varied landscapes, is sure to please.

In this house with ancient, almost medieval energies, every stone seems to tell a story. The journey there is both mineral and vegetable, guided by discreet forces that invite you to look beyond the ordinary. A terrace opens onto the landscape, revealing the church standing with pride, its song mingling with the breath of the wind in the tree. The jasmine there abandons its faded petals, like the last confetti of a spring that fades away. I met the house's Easter host and Gwen there, whose presence and deep exchanges nourished my reflection. Best wishes to you both.

A lovely stay in a quirky house. Gwen and Kiss (lovely Labrador) made me more than welcome. Sorry not to have met Pas Al this time but I'm sure I will return. Feb diner around the corner served excellent meat. Thank you G and Kiss 👍👍👍

If you (like me) love old houses you have found your place in the heart of Lunel-Viel. A renovated house with great taste. I came for a close friend's wedding with my dog (who was unfortunately sick). Pascal and Gwen helped me with luggage on arrival and offered me something to drink after the journey. The room is spacious and there were no problems between their dogs and mine. The only downside for me was the staircase because of my knee problems. I highly recommend this guest house.

Gwenaël welcomed me very well and came to pick me up when I had gotten off at the wrong train station (on a strike day too). The room is spacious, clean, and I personally had no issues with the church and the bells. Gwenaël was very attentive and friendly. I didn't meet Pascal who was supposed to be there.

Very pleasant stay with Pascal and his partner who are welcoming while remaining discreet towards their guests. The room is spacious and comfortable as well as the atypical living space. We recommend them and will return with pleasure during our next stay in the region.

Pascal and his friend are charming people. Their village house is beautifully decorated, close to Montpellier, and the beaches. I recommend this rental.

I had a good stay at Pascal and Gwen's place. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor area with the terrace. But the room is spacious and pleasant. Good communication with Pascal.

I only spent one night at Pascal and Gwen's and it was unforgettable! They were lovely, funny, super nice and incredibly generous. I had a great afternoon sailing with them, then a very good dinner at their home. I will definitely come back. I highly recommend them!
