The Countess is one of the most popular and emblematic sites of the CDMX, it has countless restaurants of all kinds of food, places to meet and to stroll. On weekends in addition to having a good time walking around the area, you can buy handicrafts with the vendors who come to offer their products. It is a central neighborhood, if you do not want to eat here, the area is connected to the entire city. There are many shops to buy mezcal or tequila, as well as souvenirs. Many of the city's most important museums and sites are very close, such as Chapultepec Castle or Zona Rosa. Within this area you can rent bicycles through applications to move to the places you want to go.

I will first say that this review is not about the HOST, it's about my "experience." Although I didn't stay even one night, I sent a detailed note to the host as to why I left shortly after arrival. I was hoping he would respond. Since he did not, I just want to post the message here so that you know what I said to him. ========== Hello from California. I continue to receive reminders from Misterbnb to write a review. Although I didn't spend the night at your property, I did pay for the reservation. I haven't yet decided whether or how I'll review my experience, but I wanted to share the two things that ultimately led me to leave. Housekeeping First, although I didn't ask to drop off my bags early, I genuinely appreciated your offering to let me do so. I was very sick from what I believe was food poisoning from dinner the previous evening in Guadalajara. It was also raining, and carrying my luggage around wasn't easy. Likewise, I didn't ask to check in early—you offered, and I accepted. Thank you for that kindness. When I arrived in the afternoon, I noticed the housekeeper was still there, even though my room had been cleaned. In all my years of renting rooms—and as someone who has also managed vacation rental properties—I have never experienced being checked in before the cleaning of the home was fully completed. Feeling exhausted and having had very little sleep, I rested in my room for a couple of hours. When I got up, the housekeeper was still working, so I went out to find something simple to eat since I hadn't eaten since the night before. When I returned around 6:30 pm, she was still there. At that point she was deep-cleaning the bathroom, which meant I couldn't use it. I found that very uncomfortable. I would have been perfectly happy to wait until the normal 4:00 pm check-in time, but, in this case, it wouldn't have mattered because the housekeeper remained there until I packed my belongings and left around 7:30 pm. It created an awkward situation and made it difficult to feel settled in the space. Dogs When I first arrived and you were home, I was able to get the dogs comfortable with me, and they even let me pet them while I sat on the dining room floor. However, when I returned after dinner and you were not there, the two small dogs barked and growled at me in a way that felt threatening. The only way I could get them to stop was to retreat to my bedroom. Between the ongoing housekeeping and the dogs, I felt confined to the bedroom and couldn't relax. That's when I texted you to let you know I was moving to a hotel. I wasn't looking for compensation. I simply wanted to stay somewhere I felt more comfortable. I ended up walking over to Parral 14 Boutique Hotel, which turned out to be quiet, charming, and exactly what I needed that evening. I considered myself a kind and easygoing person, and I genuinely regret that our interaction took place while I was feeling so ill. I simply wanted to share an honest account of my brief stay as I consider how to move forward with my review.
Excellent experience, Roberto was very kind to let me in well before check-in. He was always attentive and gave me useful information, which helps a lot when you're in CDMX. Totally recommended
Roberto's place is exceptional. The room is spacious and relaxing with a working desk by the window. Location is quiet and full of greenery, which I absolutely love! It's close to everything, including places for basic needs. With my activities centered in Reforma, walking to and fro became a routine. Roberto is a sociable and accommodating host, along with his roomie. I enjoyed the conversations and the jokes! The dogs are quirky and make the place alive! I quickly felt at home in CDMX. Highly recommended!
The apartment was was described. The bed was full sized and the room more than enough for one person. The dogs were adorable and are very affectionate once they've warmed up to you. The location is in Hipódromo, among the hip neighborhoods of La Condesa and Roma with great restaurants and shops around. About 20 minute walk to Parque Chapultepec and 10-15 minute walk to the nearest metro stop and less than 10 minutes to the nearest MetroBús station. Highly recommend for solo travelers who want to walk around a leafy, quieter neighborhood with great nightlife nearby.
Roberto is a kind and gracious host. he is very accommodating and i felt welcome in his home. :)
Cute place with a perfect location ! The hosts were great and very patient with me, my schedule kept on changing and they accommodated it perfectly. The dogs were a lovely additional touch. Merci for all !
Roberto is a great host, very kind, he gave me lots of tips for getting around the city, always very willing to help, and I would definitely return to his place. I also recommend his apartment to anyone who wants to visit Mexico City. La Condesa is a spectacular neighborhood, full of parks and very vibrant. Thank you, Roberto, for everything, and I'm returning to Canada very happy to have stayed at your place.
Roberto is a first-class host! He is always willing and accessible whenever you need him. He helped me a lot with everything during my stay. Roberto's apartment is very well located in a very nice and safe area. There is a lot of gastronomic offer and you have a great time! I can 100% recommend staying in his apartment.
Roberto was a kind and attentive host with a beautiful home in the heart of Condesa. The room looks out onto some stunning, calming greenery and Roberto's dogs were extremely cute and great company as well.
I really enjoyed my time here with Roberto. The place is exactly as described and nestled right on Amsterdam in the heart of Roma Norte and Condesa. The home is full of stunning art and nearby to wonderful cafes and restaurants and parque Mexico. You'll feel like you live in CDMX in no time
