Please come and stay if you would like to visit my town, or if you want to make a stop on your way from south to north or east to west. I can offer you a room in my house, about 20 min. walk from centre of Lillehammer.
During winter time you can put on cross country skis outside my door and find skiing tracks which take you into the forest and beautiful scenery. In summer you can go hiking.
I live right next to an open air museum. In city centre there are various restaurants, pubs and shops. Easy to walk down to pub. Buses stop nearby if you prefer.
You will have a comfortable bed in your own room. I have three bedrooms, where I occupy one of them myself.
Trains leave from Oslo Central Station to Lillehammer via Oslo International Airport. Travel distance from Oslo appr. 2 hours, appr. 1,5 hours from airport. From Trondheim south to Lillehammer about 3 or 4 trains a day. I can arrange pick up at the train station. From my house you can walk to town in about 20 minutes. There are also city bus transport available

Lillehammer has a number of museums, galleries, nice shops and restaurants, also a number of cultural festivals during the year and international sports events, especially winter sports. The combination of nice nature all around makes my town worth a visit, for the traveler who want to go se something else than just the major cities.

Bright modern house with tons of windows and natural light, if travelling light it's about a 40 minute walk from the station and centre, much on footpaths through green ways... T provided a nice Norwegian style continental breakfast, ... like all of the handful of bookings I did with this site, there were no other guests, I believe there are 3 guestrooms in the house... did make a quiet restful stopover, kitchen is very good for preparing simple meals.

Terje is a lovely and caring host. The room was spacious and pleasant. The house located high up gives a beautiful view of Lillehammer. Good breakfast.

Terje is a fantastic host, and he really made me feel at home during my stay. His house is beautifully located and immaculately clean. He even joined me for a hike in the mountains where we had spectacular views and long and deep conversations. In the evening we sat together long over cheese and wine, and a friend of his joined us for that. I can only recommend anyone to stay at Terje's. I feel like I came as a stranger and left as a friend
