Helsinki Gay Pride usually includes discussion events, meetings, the parade, parties and much more. Each year, Helsinki Pride focuses on human rights, equality, and equity, and enoucrages open discussion and promotion of these pertinent topics.
The following is the event program for 2020. Stay tuned for the 2021 program.
The Helsinki Gay Pride Parade will kick off at 1pm for Senate Square, and travel through the city streets, before ending in Kaivopuisto Park where the main party begins. Helsinki Pride also has its own Youth Pride for those aged 13 - 25. As well as the main parade and parties, Helsinki Gay Pride includes discussions, picnics, workshops, arts and culture. Last year, more than 100,000 people attended Helsinki Pride, so we assume this year will be just as big.
