The Reveal
I have this very old timberhouse in the old part of Bergen. It is maybe of the oldest wooden buildings there are in town. Saved from the big fire in 1702, but struck by a canonball in 1665. I am always fixing or reconstructing something, but will keep quiet while having guests. It is not luxurious, but cosy, and the location is super nice. Mostly just one set of visitors at the time, but the house contains other rentable rooms. Situated in Stølegaten we are close to tourist attractions and the city. NB. internal stairs are steep

Architect and owner of this little cute house in my nice street. Always renovating some parts of the house (as a hobby) and to make it into my personal home.
The house is too big for me alone, so it's nice to let others come and stay. Hopefully you'll also like the old and charming place.

The perfect place to stay while in Bergen! We stayed for two nights, and the location is centrally located to all attractions, steps away from a grocery store, and was very cozy. All the necessities were provided, and the bed was comfy. Bjorgvin was so accommodating and friendly. I wish we had more time in the city so we could have spent more time with him. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Cozy, charming and in perfect location. Bjorgvin is such a pleasant host who is clear in communication and ready for a chat should one needs some recommendations about the city. His apartment oozes with personality with its well-maintained wooden Scandi architecture. The neighborhood itself seems to be one of the must-see places in the city, and it's just a few steps aways to Bryggen, the harbor and to the Floyen hike. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay. Bjorgvin was a polite and unobtrusive host. His home is an architectural delight and the location is brilliant for easy access to the town centre. I would definitely stay again.
