Very sunny, three bedroom, single family home with second story deck and SF Bay views, large backyard, on a quiet residential street, 11 miles (17 km) from downtown San Francisco (15 minutes by car and 40 minutes by public transport). We are an American/Spanish gay couple and welcome people from all over the world. The basement bedroom is a large, sunny, finished room in the lower level of our home. Access to the rest of the house is via a staircase off the kitchen. The basement bedroom is the only bedroom with its own television. There is NO bathroom on the lower level. Except for the bedrooms, you share the entire house with a friendly gay couple who love and care for their home. We offer the large basement bedroom and a private half bath (plus a shared full bath). There is cable TV with Netflix, WiFi internet access throughout the house, and full access to the living room, dining room and a very well equipped kitchen. There are also three outdoor spaces to relax in: a front patio with chairs, a deck with table, chairs and views of the SF Bay, and a grassy backyard garden with park bench.Except for the bedrooms, guests have access to the entire house and outdoor areas. There is easy parking on the street in front of the house and the neighborhood is safe and quiet and does not have a lot of car or foot ******** neighborhood is safe, quiet, residential and is located in the Oakland foothills. There is not a lot of car or foot traffic on our street. Around the block there is a creek and wild area which is very nice for walking and there are beautiful big parks on the tops of the hills within a few miles from our ******** are conveniently located near two highways (the 580 and the 13) and close to downtown Oakland (8 minutes), Oakland Airport (15 minutes), Berkeley (12 minutes), downtown San Francisco (15 minutes) and San Francisco International Airport (30 minutes). There is Uber and Lyft service all around the SF Bay Area. We are also very close (3 minute walk) to a bus stop and the bus (No. 54) takes you directly to the Fruitvale BART Station. BART takes you to all of the destinations mentioned above. The total trip in public transport from our house to downtown SF is 40 minutes.
