Popular and dynamic neighborhood, the building is situated right in front of Martin Margiela Ateliers. Goncourt neighborhood is famous for its numerous bars and very good restaurants. The street is lively during the day and the evening, but become quiet and peacefull after midnight. Close to Canal saint Martin, Buttes Chaumont Park and Republique Place. There is a super nice gay bar near of the appartment called "Msieurs Dames". Le marais (the gay district) is at 20 minutes by walking. At sunday evening, you should go to Rosa Bonheur for the gay party in the Buttes Chaumont Park.

During your stay in my place there are some rules very important to follow : + Never go outside without the keys. If you don’t have the keys you can’t get in back. + Every morning open all the shutters. There are a lot of plants in my place and they need sun light to survive. Some guests never opened the shutters during their travel and killed some of them. + Open at least the bathroom window during the day and one of the living-room if it’s warm outside. + Only one person in the shower (temporary and fragile shower cabin...), One door of the cabin is missing, pay attention when yout ake shower.

We enjoyed Sylvain's little house a lot: very nice and comfortable! And we did like the quiet, lively, multi-ethnic neighborhood where it's located too: the bakery that sells delicious and cheap desserts, the cheese shop, the clubs, the ethnic restaurants, the cafes, and the well-stocked Monoprix supermarket. The house is small, but very pretty and well decorated, fully equipped, clean, quiet and fully complied to the description. The house is conveniently located very close to two different metro stations. When we return to Paris, we will certainly ask Sylvain again. For us a super recommended!
