Le Petit Donjon is a unique and stylish place to stay within the grounds of the beautiful medieval Chateau Mareuil. Created with love and attention to detail, this bijou residence is just a few steps away from the impressive 12m x 6m swimming pool and has it's own private terrace. With two double bedrooms, an additional single bed and a sofa bed in the salon, up to 6 guests can sleep in comfort and a wood burning stove in the salon makes this a cosy getaway at any time of year! A bespoke custom-designed stained glass interior window adds colour, texture and light to this unique living space.

I live in a pretty cottage just next door to the lovely Chateau Mareuil with my husband of 18 years and 2 crazy cats! Lee and I are totally in love with France! We bought our first property here in 2007, a charming Normandy cottage. In 2015, we fulfilled our ambition to own a chateau - we bought Chateau Mareuil, our pretty medieval chateau right in the middle of France. We are very excited as Chateau Mareuil is featured on Channel 4's popular " Chateau - DIY"! We now live here in France; and our beautiful chateau, petit donjon and our studio apartment are available for your next holiday.

Chateau Mareuil is set in rural tranquility and we believe visitors are attracted to visit us for that reason. We are totally accepting of groups, gatherings and parties but ask that the noise goes indoors after 23h. This is a no-smoking property. Dogs are permitted (max 2), a €50 pet fee applies. The pool is open from May - September, from 09h - 21h.
