Farm guest house with private beach, 3.5 hours from Vancouver

We were greeted at the main gate by Geoff and Randy. Both very polite and we felt welcomed on the spot. Our cottage style house had it all. Roomy living quarters with the works. We felt at home. We were shown around the property surrounded by mountains and their multiple fruit orchards. It was impressive !! We had a potluck supper that was an outdoor feast. Geoff and Randy were perfect hosts. We would definitely stay at their farmhouse/cottage again. We recommend this property.

The ranch provided the perfect relaxing, fun getaway that we needed. Fellow Vancouverites themselves, Geoff & Randy have created a space that truly lets you unwind from the bustle of the city, while providing just enough creature comforts so you never feel like you're roughing it. We love to cook, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals that we shared over lively conversation with our gracious hosts. Tubing down the scenic Nicola River was one of the most memorable dates we've ever had. Geoff & Randy are two of the kindest, most welcoming people we have ever met and we cannot wait for our next visit to the farm.

Had a fabulous evening out at Geoff and Randy's farm. First of all, both Geoff and Randy were super friendly and welcoming. The property is spectacular, and the living space was very comfortable. My weekend at the property was relaxing, which was exactly what I was looking for. Also, the location is very accessible from Vancouver and from Kamloops. No complaints here; would 100% recommend.

My welcome from Geoff & Randy began before I arrived with e-mail correspondence providing details on how to get to the farm, I had a few questions on logistics and facilities which were swiftly answered. On arriving at the farm I was made to feel very welcome and Geoff provided me a tour of the farm. The farm sits in a beautiful valley with a river along one-side of the property where we went rafting and there were swimming holes to enjoy during the hot weather. Overall the farm is very peaceful and private, with a relaxed atmosphere, the perfect place to escape from the city. My guest house was very well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. I truly felt that I was a guest in Geoff and Randy's home rather than just a visitor. During the days that I visited I enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks under the star-gazing platform during the heat of the mid-day, in the evening the star-gazing was wonderful, the valley has next to no light pollution and the milky-way is easy to see and gaze at. Later in the evening as the air cooled we enjoyed the hot tub and more star gazing. We all had a shared meal outside, socially distant. Geoff & Randy were very respectful of COVID restrictions and I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and safe during these difficult times. The farm has plenty of space to spread out and social distancing was not a challenge. I look forward to a future opportunity visit the farm again and enjoy the peace, calm and quiet that the farm has to offer. As a side note, I travelled to the farm from Vancouver, the journey took me close to 4 1/2 hours, an hour longer than ******** maps predicted, this was due to me stopping in Hope for gas and coffee, an accident in the Fraser Valley and being stuck at a level crossing while a train passed. With that considered it was not a difficult drive. I would recommend following the Hwy 1 rather than the Coquihalla, my drive was quiet and it is a beautiful scenic route to take.

Geoff and Randy are two of the most gracious, respectful, and dedicated hosts and people that my husband and I have had the pleasure of meeting. The Farm is truly beautiful, idyllic but also well stocked and equipped for even the most urban of city folk. It was the perfect escape from the bustle of the city — fresh air, a gorgeous river that is supremely fun to go tubing down, wildlife that is respected and appreciated, and fully-stocked lodging that was clean and comfy. And we cannot forget about stargazing in a pristine hot tub! We had delicious food together accompanied by delightful conversation, and Randy and Geoff were even gracious about my lack of culinary skills (hehe). It was exactly the experience we were hoping to find for our summer getaway and we look forward to returning again whenever circumstances allow. And they support a fantastic cause (Rainbow Refugees). What could be better?

This is the first time I have used MisterB&B and I'm now a huge fan of this service. Geoff and Randy are phenomenal hosts and they have created a relaxing and fun environment for their guests. The farm, the facilities and surrounding area are gorgeous. There are great opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities and to see some impressive wildlife. The communal dinners are highly entertaining and the accommodations are really comfortable. This was one of the most rejuvenating trips I've taken in quite some time. I'm really looking forward to visiting again in the near future. Thanks Geoff and Randy for such a nice getaway!
